ClickSWITCH has appointed new leadership to the Software Engineering team. Timir Panchal has been hired and John Altenbernd promoted as Software Engineering Managers to oversee the Engineering department of ClickSWITCH under Anu Perara's leadership.
Timir Panchal has over 18 years of experience working in multiple software engineering roles and managing engineering teams at companies such as White House Custom Color (eCommerce), Hollander (eCommerce, SaaS) and CH Robinson (Logistics). Most recently he worked on creating software for online order processing and built/managed multiple API integrations. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surat, India.
John Altenbernd helps manage and guide the development team to set the pace, path, and standards for all programming activities. John works closely with project managers to help ensure smooth completion of project objectives. John has over 20 years' experience in planning and developing web applications for a variety of companies including MakeMusic, Best Buy, General Mills, and 3M. In his spare time, John works as an online instructor for OpenClassrooms, based in Paris, France, where he helps create online courses on Microsoft technologies.
Besides working with computer keyboards, John is an accomplished musician/teacher/piano player who’s recorded six CDs and won an Emmy in 2003 for scoring a PBS documentary, Delafield.
